After a month of jackhammering, varnishing and PA tuning, we’re incredibly excited to announce the unveiling of our completely remodelled live room on Thursday 13 April!
You may have spotted the changes over the last month whilst strolling through the Beer Garden or checking out some of your favourites acts in the Main Room. In March our lovably eccentric circular bar was demolished, and we’ve been working hard to bring you a a refurbished space to make your nights at the Rosie even better!
On Thursday at the ever-popular annual Easter drum and bass institution Roller, we’ll be unveiling our newly-built bar area, mezzanine viewing platforms, newly created cosy nooks and, perhaps most impressively, gorgeous wooden and iron ceiling beams which have been hidden from view for decades. Coupled with the recently installed PA system, this expert remodelling is all aimed at making your night the best it can be!
Adrian Fini, co-owner of Rosemount Hotel and director of FJM Property, said “by investing in a complete remodelling of the Rosemount’s live music room, I’m pleased that my group has been able to make a strong contribution to the world-beating original music scene here in Perth. The new bar and viewing areas, in addition to the recently upgraded PA, will give punters a high quality concert experience, without taking away from the relaxed, historic charm of the beautiful Rosemount Hotel.”
Our very own venue manager, Larry Murray, is just as excited about the refurbished space. “The Rosemount has undergone significant changes in the last 6 months,” he said. “Our goal each time we remodel is to ensure patrons have the best experience possible in terms of great food, ease of service, friendly staff and a great view of the stage to enjoy some live music.”
Cool Perth Nights director and dual Golden WAMI winner Andrew Ryan, who books and markets the venue, said the venue changes are significant for WA musicians and live music fans. “The room is set to experience a renaissance the likes of which Perth has never seen,” he said. “What excites me most is the the optimal experience now offered to local, national and international musicians in the Rosemount main room.”
Come down and check out the brand new room, whist enjoying Perth’s biggest FREE drum n bass party ROLLER from 8pm Thursday April 13.
