Tattoos and Tiara’s taking the pageant world by storm!
Originally starting off in Canberra back in 2009, Miss Ink just finished wrapping up their 2016 Australian and New Zealand tours to several sold out shows.
Due to the popularity and high demand of Miss Ink’s tattoo pageants, they will be back for another round of inked mayhem in 2016, on a tour that will see them branch out to every major city in Australia and New Zealand.
Miss Ink will see tattooed women across Australia and New Zealand take to the stage in three pageantry rounds – daywear, swimwear, formal wear – in the hopes of taking out their state title and making it through to the national final. Competitors are judged by a panel of experts from within the tattoo, fashion, and modelling industries, and are judged based on criteria such as tattoo quantity and quality, outfits, and personality.
Miss Ink has always been a big supporter of Australian charities. Since 2009, Miss Ink has raised thousands of dollars for charities such as SIDS & Kids, and the Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2013, Miss Ink continued their charitable efforts with events such as Miss Ink founder, Fallon Nicole, shaving her head as part of the Leukemia Foundation’s ‘World’s Greatest Shave’ onstage at the WA heat in front of over 500 attendees.
With over 3000 people attending the Miss Ink 2016 shows, the 2017 final tour is set to be even bigger.
