The Rosemount Hotel is gonna be shakin’ as THE VOLCANICS launch their fifth studio album for Australian release! Recorded at Deadbeat Studios, engineered by Jozef Grech and mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond, ‘Black Door’ is yet another example of the straight up, guitar rock’n’roll that The Volcanics are known for, whilst also exploring some new sounds for the band. Jozef Grech has once again captured their raw live sound perfectly and with notable producer and sound engineer Jim Diamond (The Dirtbombs) behind the mixing desk, ‘Black Door’ is certainly one of the best sounding Volcanics records to date. To help make the night a memorable one, the Volcanics boys have compiled a stellar lineup to get the Rosey suitably heated!

THE CABALLEROS – The most handsome band in town specialise in what has been described as ‘Heartbreak Rock & Roll’. What can you expect from The Caballeros? High energy party music with a nod to the past while looking to the future, an experience more than just a gig, something you can tap your foot to and most of all something that will put a smile on your face!!

THE TENDER HEARTS – For about a year Andy Shadburne, Greg Hitchcock and Nick Sheppard had been writing songs, and it soon became obvious that these compositions should be aired in public, and so they were! The Clash, You Am I, The DomNicks and Datura4 are just a few of the outfits that preceded this new project. But there is a freshness, a newness, a chemistry to this partnership that renders history obsolete. “That’s one of the amazing things about music; every time you start a new project, or a new song, it’s exactly that – brand new!!”

THE KILLER HIPSTERS – ‘We’re the Killer Hipsters and you’re not.’ Described as “Perth garage busters”, The Killer Hipsters deliver a classic brand of punk rock channelling the likes of The Clash, The Ramones and The Cult. ‘It’s loud, its fast and sometimes offensive…probably best ask Luscious Johnny Leopardskin!’

There will be prizes, giveaways, and plenty of vinyl and CDs available on the night so make sure you come on down and help to get the place bouncing as the bands tear it up!!!
