Anzac Day Eve join THE DEEP END [VIC] with special guests Hailmary + Emerald City + Diamond Eye. Often described as the bastard child of AC/DC and Guns n’ Roses, The Deep End are the pinnacle of the underground Melbourne rock n’ roll scene as it stands. Although likened to their pub rock counterparts, The Deep End have continued to evolve through their releases over the years, creating their own sound that has that certain edge that grabs you by the back of the head and leaves you fist pumping and screaming for more. 

Then on Anzac Day, we will open at 12 noon for lunch and in the evening join us for a celebration of food & music at the MENU MAGAZINE [LAUNCH] featuring Mr Arnold-Eyers + Dave Gillam’s On The Level + Hostile Little Face + The Crooked Cats.

Angove Street Festival – This Sunday!

The annual Angove Street Festival is back this Sunday featuring live music by Emperors + Boom! Bap! Pow! + Flower Drums + Ladywood + Patient Little Sister + Aires Linares + Jess Morhall + David Marcuson.

This year Angove Street will play host to a range of unique Perth retailers, performers and culinary connoisseurs ready to share their crafts with you. There will be a cove of adventures for kids, packed with activities, as well as performances and arts to delight the whole family. Internationally inspired cuisines will be served throughout the day and a fresh produce market will provide only the freshest homegrown goods to fill up your baskets.

The festival celebrates all that is North Perth, the award winning cafes, restaurants, retailers and cultural diversity that create the unique community surrounding Angove Street. Not only does the festival provide opportunities for local businesses and services to promote their brand but it also helps build relationships between residents and businesses, creating a stronger community.

The festival brings the North Perth community together and encourages surrounding residents to explore the treasures that live on the streets of Angove. With a brand new festival team and novel stalls gracing the street this year, it is set to be bigger and bolder than ever.

Roller Relocated to The Leederville Hotel

As you may, or may not be aware the Rosemount Hotel Beer Garden is currently under renovation. The Roller Easter Party was all set to be our Beer Garden re-launch. You could say we counted our chickens before they hatched…. pardon the pun.

After much deliberation and having reviewed the projected completion of works by Thursday, we feel hosting the event at our venue could be highly detrimental to the event’s success. Not only could we risk damaging the reputation of this event, but more importantly we fear we would not be able to meet the high expectations that punters have come to expect from a true Roller experience.

The result? We have had to fire up the contingency plan and relocate the event to The Leederville Hotel. We will have buses running from The Rosemount to The Leederville, every half an hour from 6.30pm onward, last bus will leave at 10pm.

Roller is, and always has been, about the Drum & Bass massive of Perth. This is no exception. What Roller has promised, it will deliver – a legendary Easter party of epic proportions, it’s just highly unfortunate that this year, we are unable to be a part of it.

So until next year Roller bunnies, please bear with us, better yet - go out and show Leederville what we know you’re made of!

You heard it here first our beloved Beer Garden will be the willing recipient of some much needed TLC. Never fear business will remain ‘as usual’ (as we possibly can) and the heart and soul will remain unscathed, however the surrounding ‘organs’ will be removed, rearranged and upgraded ultimately creating an ambiance we hope you will all be proud of. 

The new Beer Garden promises to be slightly bigger and will include more versatile seating, upgraded restroom facilities, more shade, an additional entrance and a featured function area. Plus many more exciting finishing touches that will be sure to appease, amuse and inspire. 

We ask that you please bear with us, over the next few months, as we undergo these much needed improvements and promise to keep you as comfortable as we possibly can whist they are underway.
