Position: Events Administration Assistant
Hours: 10 hours per week
Type: Casual role
Rate: HIGA Level 4 Award

Rosemount Hotel is on the hunt for a rockstar Events Administration Assistant to join the Programming & Communications team. If you’ve got a passion for live music and an eye for detail, this gig might be for you!

About Rosemount Hotel

Rosemount Hotel is Perth’s premiere mid-size live music venue! The go-to stage in WA for the hottest touring bands and Australia’s best homegrown talent. Legends like Tame Impala, Sarah Blasko, Oh Wonder!, Hiatus Kaiyote, Tones & I, and many more have graced the stage.

But it’s not just about the music – Rosemount’s newly renovated backyard offers fresh outdoor spaces and an elevated menu with dishes from traditional pub grub to fancy share food. With a drinks menu packed with delectable cocktails and a wide range of Australian and international beers and wines, and an iconic leafy green backyard, Rosemount is also the go-to meeting spot for North Perth locals, creatives, families, and a destination venue for gig-goers from all over Perth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Helping advance shows by connecting with tour managers and our awesome production team
• Creating worksheets and event documents
• Handling event settlements
• Data entry

What You Need:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data input
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Mathematics skills
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks as needed
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team or or independently as required
• Availability to work Mondays & Thursdays (with flexibility during the week if required)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Bonus Points For:

• Passion for the live music scene and understanding of the basics of putting on a live music event
• Experience in the live music industry as a musician
• Interest or knowledge in sound and/or lighting production
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
